I noticed this too, and it's rather annoying. I'll be doing my part to delete as many of these spam comments as possible, since I have noticed that the Disqus filter gets better after a few 'this is spam' marks.

Most likely there are rooms full of people, somewhere in China, typing polite comments into Disqus forms. That's how phishing works (apparently); it's not too much of a stretch to imagine someone doing it with spam, too.
OTOH, polite spam has to be better than the other sort.

I had no idea about this. Interesting to find out, even if I am the last to know! (I'm gonna read more about this type of thing.) On a side note - has anyone had people actually leave a video comment yet?

It's hard to post in wordpress that's why I leave it even if it's nice there's a lot of policy but i still using it. I discovered disqus and it's great now I can comment well and leave message free.

I think Disqus is going to be the next best thing in commenting. It's great at stopping spam !

It is not difficult to see, which of the comments below are spam. (Unless I unjustly accuse some of the readers of being brain dead)

Comment Spam is a huge problem for bloggers which is very good.
