I am impressed with the combination of Disqus and Wordpress. they are good with each other. And the main fact is user can see all of his comment from same account of Disqus. Happy with their service.

It looks like what’s happening here is that people are spending their time doing the job manually, posting nice comments and then using the URL link field in the comment to link to whatever they’re promoting by various commenting system like disqus.

Disqus acts as a really good Spam filter as it requires commenters to be logged and can spot most Spam before it’s published while there are more option to be done.

I think Disqus is going to be the next best thing in commenting. It's great at stopping spam !

It's hard to post in wordpress that's why I leave it even if it's nice there's a lot of policy but i still using it. I discovered disqus and it's great now I can comment well and leave message free.

I had no idea about this. Interesting to find out, even if I am the last to know! (I'm gonna read more about this type of thing.) On a side note - has anyone had people actually leave a video comment yet?

Most likely there are rooms full of people, somewhere in China, typing polite comments into Disqus forms. That's how phishing works (apparently); it's not too much of a stretch to imagine someone doing it with spam, too.

OTOH, polite spam has to be better than the other sort.

I noticed this too, and it's rather annoying. I'll be doing my part to delete as many of these spam comments as possible, since I have noticed that the Disqus filter gets better after a few 'this is spam' marks.
